日本国憲法 第十三条

 すべて国民は、個人として尊重される。 生命、自由及び幸福追求に対する国民の権利については、

公共の福祉に反しない限り、

立法その他の国政の上で、最大の尊重を必要とする。

Principle 2

The Rights to Equality and Non-discrimination

Everyone is entitled to enjoy all human rights without discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity. 

Everyone is entitled to equality before the law and the equal protection of the law without any such discrimination

whether or not the enjoyment of another human right is also affected. 

The law shall prohibit any such discrimination and guarantee to all persons equal and effective protection against any such discrimination.
